Michelle Smith, founder of SmithFSG, is a prominent high net worth divorce financial specialist in the country. She is a member of the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, a holder of the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® credential, a Divorce Mediator, regular contributor to national and financial media, and co-author of the book Divorce & Your Finances once written for Wachovia Securities financial advisors. Michelle is also founder and current CEO of Source Financial Advisors, a registered investment advisor (RIA), where she has created a financial literacy and education platform for women called Wife2CFO™. She was also a co-founder and Director of Family Wealth Management at Alexandra & James, an independent wealth advisor firm serving high net worth clients with $5 million to $40 million in assets.

AnnMarie joined SmithFSG as a Director in 2017, bringing over 20 years of experience in litigation consulting and forensic accounting.
Since 2009, AnnMarie has focused exclusively in the area of complex high net worth matrimonial litigation, specializing in all lifestyle analysis, income and asset tracing analysis, and other non-valuation forensic projects.
Above all, AnnMarie works very closely with clients and counsel, assisting them in all phases of the divorce process, including settlement negotiations, expert witness report preparation, and if necessary trial preparation and expert testimony.
Prior to joining SmithFSG, AnnMarie held the position of Manager in a New York City based Divorce Advisory Services group of a national accounting firm, and also held a similar position in the Litigation Support Services group of a New York based regional accounting firm.
AnnMarie is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has completed her certification as a Divorce Mediator through The Center for Understanding in Conflict. AnnMarie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Baruch College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Fordham University.
